This 16" Gas Freestanding Fryer (SSH55-SSTC) is part of the Solstice Supreme line of fryers from Pitco. This is Pitco’s most efficient high production fryer line. They come standard with self-cleaning burners, a matchless ignition system that, when ignited, begins a 30-second cleaning cycle to keep burners in optimal condition. The Solstice line also had Down Draft Protection (patent pending), which safely monitors the fryer, making it both low maintenance and extremely reliable. The burner system reaches upwards of 70% thermal efficiency and keeps flue temperatures low. The cabinet is made of durable steel, including stainless steel front, door and sides. The DVI drain valve interlock safety system turns the heat off, preventing the oil from scorching and overheating, and an integrated gas control safety valve controls gas flow. Lastly, a temperature limit switch safely shuts off all heat if the upper temperature limit is exceeded.
